Westmount Golf & Country Club is proud to offer instruction to members looking to improve their skill level. Whether a beginner curler looking to learn the curling delivery, or an experienced curler looking to improve their game and reach the next level, the Westmount Golf & Country Club is there to help!

Sam Mooibroek

|
- Sam began curling at Westmount at age five in the Little Rock program, progressed through Juniors, and joined the Men’s League at 12.
- A seven-time Ontario Champion and three-time National Champion, Sam’s career highlight was representing Ontario at the 2025 Brier.
- A graduate of Algonquin College and Wilfrid Laurier University, Sam skipped Laurier to three OUA Championships and a U SPORTS National Championship.
- Sam has coached Team Ontario at U18 and U20 National Championships, helping teams earn Silver and Bronze medals. He is excited to return to Westmount and work with the curling community.

- Certified as a Club Coach and Club Coach – Youth, with a passion for introducing new curlers to the sport.
- An ACP Professional (Apprentice) with a strong background in curling instruction and club operations.
- A lifelong curler with 20 years of experience in leadership roles at clubs with curling, including 10 years in General Manager roles and Ice Technician training.
- Particularly passionate about teaching Learn to Curl and helping novice curlers build confidence and enjoy the game.
