    KIDS CURL-A-PALOOZA

    A fun introduction to the sport for kids! Sign up for one or multiple events. Guests welcome.

    Timing:
    2:30pm – Check-in, equipment & warm-up (please arrive between 2:15-2:30pm)

    3:00pm – Learn to play!
    Our instructors will introduce the basics of curling, including the delivery, sweeping and simple game play. No experience is necessary!

    4:00pm – Food & fun
    Enjoy some food, sundae bar and entertainment.

    5:00pm – Departure                                                                                                                                                                            

    Cost: $25 + HST per person

    JUNIOR LEARN TO CURL & FUNdamentals

    Program Information

    Thursdays, 4:15-5:15PM starting October 22

    Most suited for kids aged 6-9

    Teaches the fundamentals of curling using Curling Canada’s U9 Learn to Curl and FUNdamentals curriculum.

    Earn Skills Badges as you go!

    JUNIOR HIGH PERFORMANCE

    Program Information

    Mondays, 3:45-5:15PM starting October 19

    Most suited for kids aged 12+.

    Prepare for curling competitively with technical practice and working with guest coaches.

    Register to begin in October. Active competitive junior curlers are welcome to attend any of the sessions.

    The first four weeks of the program will be used for technical review, including:

    Release

    Brushing – open and closed

    Shot selection

    Weight control

    Communication

    …and more.

    Guest coaches will be on hand once monthly in November, December, January, February and March. The program will wrap on Monday, April 5.
