We are excited to introduce a new and improved 7-week comprehensive Adult Learn to Curl program this season. Adult Learn to Curl is open to adult Westmount members.
Our Adult Learn to Curl program is designed to help new and nearly new curlers develop a solid understanding of the game’s fundamentals. With guidance from trained instructors, participants will learn safety, delivery, sweeping techniques, rules, etiquette, and basic strategy.
By the end of the program, participants will have gained the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to join regular leagues, play in jitneys and other curling events. The program is designed to build on the lessons in the prior weeks.
What you need to bring: Clean indoor shoes, warm loose-fitting clothing (layered) and mitts or gloves. We provide brooms, sliders and grippers.
Our fall Adult Learn to Curl series will take place on Tuesday evenings at 6:15pm, starting October 27.
