Curling Updates
Junior Curling
Our junior programs are now in full swing!
Junior High Performance, led by Rob Adams, runs on Mondays from 3:45–5:15pm.
This program is for juniors who are competing or looking to compete in youth events.
Junior Practice & Play, led by Emma Artichuk, begins on Monday, November 24 and also runs from 3:45–5:15pm.
Emma has taught with Rocks & Rings and the Trillium Junior Camps, and is herself a competitive curler. We’re excited to welcome her to the team!
There is still space available in both Monday programs.
Our first Kids Curl-a-Palooza of the season took place last Saturday—and what a blast it was!
Participants enjoyed an hour of curling, followed by pizza, an ice cream sundae bar, and an entertaining magic show by Wij the Magician.
Thank you to our staff for going the extra mile and to our wonderful volunteers who helped with instruction.

Changes to Hours of Operations
Beginning Monday, November 3rd, the Dining Room will be open from 11:00 am Monday to Friday, and from 9:00 am on Saturdays for Brunch.
Please note, the Club will be closed on Sundays beginning Sunday, November 9th with the exception of our Christmas Brunches.
Winter Closure
The Club will be closed for the holiday season from December 24th and will reopen for curling and dinner service on Monday, January 5th.

In Memoriam - Jim Howley
Dec. 4/25 - We are saddened to share that Jim Howley, our Assistant Ice Technician, has passed away. Jim was dedicated to his craft and to the sport of curling, and his contributions to our Club will be remembered fondly. We are deeply grateful for the care and commitment he put into making our ice exceptional. He will be missed by our team, our members, and the close-knit curling community.
Please keep Jim's family and loved ones in your thoughts during this difficult time.

In Memoriam - Kathy Ryan
Nov. 2/25 - It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Kathy Ryan, who was a valued member of the Westmount Team since 2019.
During her time at the Club, Kathy served as Curling Assistant, bringing warmth, dedication, and genuine care to our curling community. Her positive spirit, commitment to our members, and the relationships she built with staff and members alike made her an important part of life at Westmount.
She will be dearly missed by our team and the membership. Our heartfelt condolences are with her family and friends during this difficult time.
